I play music in a number of formats for all kinds of events, large and small. Whatever the occasion I can put together something appropriate for your special event whether it's a wedding, birthday, anniversary, gallery showing, house party, etc. All the details regarding music for your event will be taken care of, so that you don't have to worry about a thing. And because I work in multiple projects, I can easily put something together to fit any budget.
I have been playing professionally since 1995 when I was signed to Columbia records with local Sacramento jam band Sweet Vine. Since then I have played numerous benefit shows and corporate events as well as clubs up and down the west coast.
Here are the different formats I can offer your event, large or small:
1. Up to 3-4 hours as a solo, duo or trio acoustic/electric set doing songs that you are free to choose as well as material we already have prepared.
2. A full band doing up to 3-4 hours of some of the most familiar pop/rock/soul covers old and new
3. Seven piece funk and soul band, The Nibblers (featuring three members of Mumbo Gumbo) doing up to three hours of high energy, danceable, stomp and holler funk and soul.
4. DJ style electronic funk sets featuring live instrument/vocal looping woven together into delicious soundscapes
And of course, if you are actually a fan of my music specifically, I can put together a set of my originals and a few choice covers in an intimate acoustic format or with a full setup!
Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding your event or to get references here at my website email : hans@hansrocks.com

Here are a few things people have said about me....
"And what the crowd reacted to most was the combination of Eberbach’s powerful vocals--he’s got the kind of voice that can segue from a raspy blues-rock bark into a soulful falsetto and back with the precise smoothness of a German luxury sedan’s gearbox--"
Jackson Griffith, Sacramento News and Review, article "Twinkle, Twinkle"
"the man still has a voice that will knock you on your ass. This is particularly true when the lyrical content dissolves and Eberbach moves into wordless improvisation, and his soul-singing voice (for he is, in the end, a melanin-challenged soul singer) really catches fire, achieving an emotional, driving and heavily musical resonance that is a bit reminiscent of jazz vocalist virtuoso Kurt Elling."
Christian Kiefer, Sacramento News and Review, article "Melanin and Soul"
